This manual will run you through the eFit User Interface (UI).

New Profile

You will be presented with this dialog box when you run eFit for the first time. You can also create a new profile at any time by selecting the ‘New’ option from the profile menu.

Profile Name: This name will be used to identify your profile.

Goal: Here you can select the outcome you are aiming for by using eFit. This will be used in future versions of eFit to produce graphs against your goals, and to alert you when you have been doing things such as exceeding you daily intake that might conflict with your goal.

Weight Measurements: Will display weight in eFit in either pounds(lbs) or kilograms (kg).

Length Measurements: Will display length in either inches or centre meters (cm).

Energy Measurements: Will display energy in kilocalories(kilocals) or kilojoules.

Date Display Type: Will display date in dd/mm/yyyy format or in US mm/dd/yyyy format.

D.O.B: Date of Birth.

Body Fat: You can estimate your body fat based on the body measurements you entered by clicking the estimate button. For more accurate methods of calculating body fat visit:

Metabolic Rate: You can estimate your Metabolic rate is based on the body measurements you entered by clicking the estimate button. For more information on Metabolic Rate visit:

Calendar

The calendar component of eFit allows you to see an overview of daily intake totals and weight measurements for the current month, it is also a quick way to navigate to a date in the planner you can do this by double clicking any date.

Planner

The planner is the where you enter in all details and meal plans for a certain date.

Daily Intake: This tab in the planner is where meals are entered. Simply click on a meal, search for a food and double click it to add to the meal.

Note: There is no need to save, entries are automatically saved.


Measurements: This tab in the planner is where measurements are entered. Simply click on a measure and enter your new measurement for the currently selected date.

Online Services

Here you can access Online Services offered by the eFit web site http://www.weightcontrolsoftware.com/ such as the forum, without leaving the eFit program.
