By downloading our free software you have begun the first step in your journey. On running our software for the first time you will need to create a new user profile. This profile will be used to store your daily intake of food energy (calories), and keep track of your body measurements which will help you reach your goal.

To gain an idea of the amount of calories you are consuming it is recommended you eat and drink as you would normally for one week and record everything into eFit, at the end of the week add up the totals from each day and divide it by seven then you will have the average daily intake for your current diet.

Now that you have your average daily intake you can start to use eFit to change your life. A good place to begin is to plan your daily meals using eFits Planner component and trying to subtract 500 calories from the average daily intake of your previous diet for weight loss, or add 500 calories for weight gain.
