  1. Is this program linux compatable?

    • It is linux compatable however you are the first to ever ask about a linux version. If you give me a day or two to do some testing I can most likely make a version available to you. Also can I ask what flavour of Linux you use, I currently only have Ubuntu 10.04 intalled to test on.

  2. I’m using E-fit free edition. Is there a way I can take foods from the food database/list and combine them to make a recipe. This would prevent me from having to make a new food for everything I want to put in the recipe.

    • Hi Tom,
Yes there is a recipe feature that works just like the foods feature for adding items to the daily intake table.

There should be a recipe tab next to the food tab in the daily intake screen ( if not please make sure you have the latest version of efit). Once you have clicked this tab you should see a ‘create recipe’ button, this will popup a dialog that allows you to create a recipe with the foods from the database.

Let me know how you go,
      Cheers,
      Tim

  3. Hi Tim,

What an excellent and well thought-out application! Just what I was looking for.

I too am looking for a Linux version. I’m using Ubuntu 11.04, but I’m sure a 10.04 version would work if you have one.

    Many thanks,

    Chris

    • Hi Chris,
Unfortunately the Linux version needs more work before I can release it. I’ve currently put development on hold. So I dont really have a time-frame for if and when a Linux version will be available.

  4. Thanks anyway Tim.

I’m using eFit on Vista via Virtualbox, so it’s OK for me.

    Chris
